``...As my father planted for me before I was born, so do i plant for those who will come after me.``
Talmud Ta'amit
This group of donation types can be directed to a number of different areas, including targeted donations to areas that our congregation always appreciates, like our Kiddush Fund, our USY (youth group), our Scheck Family Religious School, and other areas of need. You can also make your donation under the “General Donation” designation and that allows the synagogue to use the donation to meet the needs of several areas.
The donations given to the discretionary funds of the clergy is used solely at the discretion of that clergy for charitable purposes consistent with the synagogue’s mission. The funds may be used to assist individual, educational and communal needs that may be necessary to be met in a confidential manner.
We have established a number of prayer book funds at the synagogue to help with the purchase of future ritual books, the replacement of existing ritual books, and the repair of ritual books. You can either contribute to one of the funds or you can purchase a book in honor of a loved one. If you purchase a book in honor of a loved one, a dedication plaque will be placed inside of a prayer book or chumash indicating the dedication.
Our synagogue is blessed to have so many prayer books and many are available for dedication. We hope you will consider dedicating a prayer book today!
