Our sensitive, well trained and experienced teaching staff at SFECA, all hold degrees in Early Childhood Education. Their passion is working with young children and their families. Many of our staff members are multi-lingual and multi-cultural and reflects the community that we serve. All staff participates in continuing education classes on a regular basis to keep current and fresh in their profession.
All classroom have one or two lead teachers and an assistant teacher. We are very proud to say that we have very low child to teacher ratios, thereby ensuring individual attention for every child.
DIRECTOR OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION
Sandra Kopp, M.S., is the Director of Early Childhood Education at the Suzy Fischer Early Childhood Academy. Originally from Argentina, Sandra has worked in the field of early childhood education for over three decades, including five years in Mexico City. She has presented at several national conferences such as the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), and has served on the board of the National Jewish Early Childhood Network.
A leader in her profession, Sandra is very active in the field of Early Childhood education in various educational endeavors. Sandra is a results-driven change agent and is committed to high-quality programming and best practices; her passion and dedication to education inspire her quest for excellence in the field. Sandra has a master’s degree in Pre-k/Primary Education from Barry University, and she is a graduate of the JECEI-Covenant Fellowship for Excellence in Jewish Early Childhood Education (2007-2009) and of the Covenant Foundation Fellowship (2009-2010). Sandra was also a participant in the Harvard’s Graduate School of Education’s program: Leadership – An Evolving Vision.

DIRECTOR OF ADMISSIONS AND MEMBERSHIP
Ronit brings with her over two decades of experience to this position. In 2002, she worked at a peer Temple/School with both administrative and dual-language curriculum responsibilities before assuming the role of Director of Admissions and Financial Aid for their Early Childhood through 8th grade. After her tenure with at that institution, Ronit joined the team at a K-12 Jewish school in Boca Raton as Director of Admissions.
Throughout her career, Ronit has distinguished herself with her diligent work ethic and professionalism, understanding the significance of the synergy between Synagogue and school life.
Ronit was born in Ethiopia and has lived in ten countries, she is multi-lingual and multi-cultural. She relocated with her husband and three children to the United States from South America in 2002. Her parent perspective and passion for the values of Judaism will serve to guide her in this role. Ronit holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a minor in Hotel Management.

EARLY CHILDHOOD ACADEMY ASSISTANT DIRECTOR
Amy has worked at our SFECA for the past number of year as the Assistant Director of Early Childhood and before that for 5 years as a Jr. Kindergarten teacher and administrative assistant. She graduated from the Ohio State University with a B.S in Child Development and has 13 years of teaching experience.
Her goal is to continue growing as a professional to give the children at our school the best possible learning experiences to help them grow and develop.

SUPERVISOR TODDLERS AND TWOS PROGRAM
Grace Erdfrocht has been the Toddlers and Twos Supervisor for the past 10 years and has also facilitated parent-child and music programs at Beth Torah for 22 years.
Grace grew up in Argentina, where she discovered at an early age that her mission was to work with young children. In 1985 Grace moved to the United States, and began to work with Anne Mandelbaum and her amazing staff at Beth Torah’s Early Childhood program.
Grace holds an Associate degree in early childhood education and a Director’s Credential from the State of Florida. Grace has stated “ My favorite thing about working with children is having the unique opportunity to watch them grow and develop. It is inspiring to see a toddler develop into a pre-schooler and know that I played an important role in their journey.”
